Hey guys
What a horrible day! Grey, cold, raining and windy. The water was apparently 17.6 but felt freezing. Some big messy sets coming though & not great water quality. I hate to say it, but it did feel sharky.
Not many people knocking around this morning either, I’m assuming it’s because they wanted to stay nice and warm in bed! Good choice if that was you ☺️
I was lucky enough to catch a few waves on the way back in which was lots of fun. The lifeguards looked extremely worried this morning though & apparently they did jump in around 6.30am to check on some struggling folks out there.
There seems to be something awry with uploading photos today, so apologies for this! I’ll ensure I have lots of pics in a few weeks time.
Finally, it’s my legendary mates’s birthday today! I’d ordinarily add a super embarrassing pic in here of him with his idol, but because it’s not working, I’ll just say Happy Birthday MDP! See you later for a beer 😘

I took flippers and caught some of those waves with Trish & John.
BTW what is MDP’s first name? In my past world of molecular imaging MDP is methyl diphosphonate.
