Happy long weekend everyone!

Everyone was happy to be down swimming at Manly today, there were kids, dogs, athletes training early and the regular show ups having a good time! Shaun was excited that Rainer wasn’t around but maybe that’s cos Rainer is a faster swimmer? At the moment? Or maybe that’s another joke! One can never tell….

I found Flo, Lola and Izzy getting excited at swimming and being in the blog. How sweet kids can be . Their folks discretely  avoided the camera and kept out of the limelight. At least one of them is a newbie, none of them shy though 🙂

Bronwyn swam with us once a year ago and returned today, with Lauren on the left ( a running friend of Elaine’s ) and Mary on the right.

Annie’s friend Dave was telling me today about the concept of having lipstick tattooed onto your lips! Annie reassures me she just swims with lippie on, it’s a must! Free tips from the style queen 🙂

I haven’t seen Fiona for ages and she returned today after being sick, another one hit by the lurgy this winter. She’s first to the wall to catch up on news.

I swam with Leveena and Margot and saw lots of lovely marine life. They were squealing for joy! Also swam a bit with Nat who got a lovely video of the eagle ray we followed.

Today’s swim was magical. The temperature of late always feel alot colder than what was recorded but honestly it doesn’t stop us swimming , we’d be getting in either way.

Just after the point this majestic eagle ray flew under us, the tail is soooo long.

Then we saw a cute little PJ under us:

The catfish at the end of the swim helped me find my way around the corner back to Manly, always a bit hard to photograph:

After the swim everyone gets dressed and today I had to laugh at the group effort next to me, took a while but eventually the girl in the middle got her bra on!

Ian and Andrew were keen to get a close up view of Roger’s new hairdo c/o a teenager shaving his head:

Always have to include a dog sorry, they were so attentive today, maybe Midge had fed them again?
