We live under the belief that we are the author of our thoughts, when in fact, we are simply the editor.
The reality you are choosing to live this very second consists of 50 bits of information. During that same second your whole nerve system is actually streaming 11 million bits of information.
Do the math… The reality chosen by your conscious awareness, is only 0.00045% of what’s actually possible. That leaves a huge percentage, an ocean, of untapped alternatives from which you can choose.
Why swim in a bathtub when you are able to create oceans? Expand, flow with the waves of possibility.

Andrew ‘Magichands’ Maher.

The next B&B monthly dinner
Tuesday 14th April at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. On the night we will have a special presentation by Richard Nicholls from the Dive Centre Manly, who will present the story of how Cabbage Tree Bay has evolved into the amazing place it is today. In Richard’s words it is “a tale of intrigue, agenda, and mis-information, and how, through the power of ordinary people, the unthinkable became reality”.
The cost of the dinner is only $25 a head and includes shared entrees, a selection of mains to choose (incl a vegetarian option), corkage (for byo wine only) and a little thank you for the staff. Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential: To avoid disappointment and secure your spot please BOOK HERE NOW.
Staying safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits. Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Do read these excellent tips on staying safe in the surf. To read, or even download, click here.

Beautiful, well-edited thoughts Andrew.
Am I the only one who’s sick of seeing all those ‘self-employed’ swimmers hanging at the benches till 9am on a school day?
Love the shark pics. Nice work Elaine.

Lots of food for thought in that blog, Magic Hands. Love to discuss it with you some time.
And the sharks – wow! just imagine if they were 3 metres long instead of 1! Don’t you love the little stowaways hanging on for dear life on their backs? Safest place to be I reckon.

Back in Hong Kong now…… what a lovely dream month it was in Manly! Thanks to you all!
Watched a really interesting documentary about the homing of female sharks to give birth…..returning to their birth place…..perhaps our duskies born in Cabbage Tree Bay will return to give birth there too….
Will be swimming with Dicey at Big Wave Bay here this weekend and I know Jonny S and MC are coming through soon. Let us know if you’re passing through and would like a different swim or a coffee/brekkie!
