Conditions today warranted TWO Dangerous current signs being erected by the lifeguards
Those very skilled and capable swimmers who swam in these conditions swam north. There were reports of low visibility, scum on the surface, debris, and one swimmer counted 39 orange barrel jellyfish. Which I find creepy as they look like a bald human head out of the corner of your eye.
Shelly beach was closed for pollution
Here are the skilled and masterful swimmers:
And nice club swimming costumes
When you swim, it is up to you to check if the conditions are suitable for you or not. But swimmers are good so if you ask, they will give your information about the conditions so you can take it into account. Here is an image of the passing on of wisdom from the amphitheatre with swimmers engrossed.
Survived the conditions!
Heading north
Mathew has finished his swim. Others getting the low-down before starting
Getting ready at the A team tree
Phew – early swimmers out safely
Wes (right) and Danny. Wes’ first swim today. What a day to pick. Come back again. it is not usually this challenging
Coordinated group
No worries for this group
The swell hit the beach and took away the sand. Runners and walkers have hardly any beach to work with

Love your honest description of a not so appealing swim. Thanks Elizabeth. We’re away and I have not got fomo!

Except that the turtle was spotted near the point. Still no fomo?
