Marine Parks Appeal
How lucky we are to have Cabbage Tree Bay in our lives! Community feedback (below) about a Sydney Marine Park will help protect areas like CTB.
All you need to do is visit
www.communityremarks.com/Hawkesbury/
and click on ‘Make general comments’. You only need to answer Question 5 saying you would like the Government to establish a Sydney Marine Park with sanctuary zones, and at Question 7 to enter your postcode. The others can be left blank or it’s up to you if you wish to answer them.
But please do it right now – closes today Friday, 28 August 2015. Act now!
Lesbubbles suggested I type C*nd*m into Bolds blog search, and find a file photo of her collecting naughty plastic rubbish from Shelly Beach. Bubbs is a known supporter of rubbish collection … proud of Manly’s Cabbage Tree Bay 🙂

Idi-App on Facebook
Select any photo in Facebook feed – Type 6 – and then click Share. The biggest idiot is instantly identified. This really works. (Below – A Manly rowing crew setting off … what a way to start their day!)

Can you believe some people actually put blu-tac (or gray-Tac) inside their heads?

Where’s Jane?
She pops by at 7.54 a.m. – just for a visit though. “And then I’m off to Aldi.”

Murky water (of course), but flat at sea … and yet another beautiful, warming sunrise 🙂

Aaaaah … that’s nice!
Pauline holds a record for Booty Camp attendance – She went once, and only once. And never going back.
A-Team Interviews
Vincent grew up in Westville, outside Durban – and his primary school had its own 25-metre pool.
“I remember training at 6 a.m. as a seven-year-old,” he says. “By sixth grade I was sick of it, and didn’t train again until I was 18.” Vincent likes to race along behind Dreamboat, hanging off the left foot. “But if I touch his toe, he takes off!”
Olympic, World and Commonwealth Champion Chad le Clos (butterfly specialist) also went to this school … say no more.

Surf Club Safety
You’ll never get cut-up by a SLSC propellor. My brother got mown down by a speedboat at Frankston beach when we were kids (snorkelling by the pier). He went to hospital with massive slashes to the feet, but if he hadn’t duck-dived, he’d have been dead. The boat driver was in shock …

Oh what a shame I was hoping to see a photo of 1000km Richard in his pink paraphernalia. A team interviews are just making it up now. Maybe time to switch to another one of our tribes eg the original ladies, those who have swum Rottnest or the Channel or Hawaii etc. Still, not criticising another fab blog Roger, as usual, esp love the pic of Massey

Rottnest Interviews, Liz … now that’s a great idea! I’ve no idea how many BBs have done it. (Sounds like utter torture to me)

It’s not that bad Roger. Just do one interview a week. Less painful than you think.

Does the t-shirt belong to Paul? He has a fondness for the odd graphic tee.
Thanks for another wonderful and inclusive blog Roger.
