Friday 26 August 2022 – Superb

26/08/20224

Your expectations can affect how things turn out. The rain overnight and the slightly cooler temperatures made people wonder about coming for a swim. But those who did were very glad. Calm waters. Gentle waves. Clear as it can be. Lots of fish about. Delightful.

The sky was dramatic so this swimmer swam backstroke so he could look at it

When I was thinking about the temperature, I had in my mind an image of Alice Goodridge swimming in Loch Insh in Scotland so, by comparison, it felt warmer in the water

Eric swam today fearing it would be murky after the rain but was delighted that it was clear.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME VERY DEAR SISTER HELEN WHO, WHILE NOT A SWIMMER, KNOWS AN ENTHUSIASTIC ONE
