Weather reports said it was raining at Manly but when I got there, I found the beach was open and BB was going ahead like every other day!

To end the suspense, this week I have been reading Richard Glover’s book about his weird parents and although they were weird in their own way, it was a good read because he turned out ok. I am now reading another Karin Fossum book and looking for my next Anne Cleeve book. Recommendations welcome.

Rushing off today to cook in a special BBQ at my girls’school to say thank you to the teachers. I am grateful to their teachers and the great people who taught me – I am 52 and can still recall some of them. so I hope my cooking skills can express my gratitude! Appreciate the people in your life.
