Every swim is its own adventure and has its own features – waves, swell, sky, stingers/not.

Today was Helen’s birthday. Happy birthday Helen:

Wendy and Ryan travelled all the way to Manly from the USA to swim with BB for their honeymoon. Congratulations on your marriage and wishing you happiness always. Great idea to swim with BB for celebration of a marriage.

Last Sunday some BB did the Coogee swim around Wedding Cake Island. Are there ever enough photos in my blog? I agree. No. So here are some of BB at Coogee:

Finally stops body surfing

My husband Malcolm – surely you are not going in that? Possibly a valid question, as it turned out

Before.

After – with our personal escort water safety guide, Mike. Really great support – he encouraged us all the way in

SUMMER TRIPLE BADGE

Please don’t forget our Summer Triple badge this summer! If you can’t make the 6 km distance, or want to warm up for the 6 km swim, why not do a triple Manly-Shelly swim any day and you earn a badge (don’t forget to log it on i-log). Due to popular demand, this year you will be able to earn the Summer Triple as well the 6 km badge. Everyone is eligible for two badges in any combination (triple/6km, 6km/10km, triple/10km), so start training!!

Boomerang Bags Manly Launch – 23rd Ocean Care Day Festival

Date: This Sunday 4 Dec @ 12.30pm

Time: 12.30pm

Location: Southern Stage Manly Beachfront (opp Royal Far West)

Join us in the celebrations of launching this exciting initiative into the community of Manly at the 23rd Ocean Care Day Festival.

Boomerang Bags is a bag share initiative driven by our community to reduce single use plastic pollution in our community.

From next week, look out for the bright red boomerang bag boxes located in local businesses throughout Manly’s shopping precinct.

The boxes will be stocked with FREE reusable fabric shopping bags for customers to borrow when they forget to bring their own.

Simple borrow a bag when you need it most and return to a red BB box along with any extras you have at home.

The availability of free reusable bags reduces the amount of plastic materials entering our landfills and waterways and encourages a mentality of re-use in our community.

Another great fun, friendly and inclusive blog Elizabeth and great to have the photo report of your Coogee swim. Well done all of you. Every day is an adventure when you start it with our swim.
A female swimmer has asked me as CEO of the B&B Matchmaking Society to find out if the swimmer in the 26th photo down is ‘single and ready to mingle’. Please comment if you have any info or see me privately 😉

Sounds like you are selling yourself short Elizabeth. There is a fabulous post about the Coogee swim on the ocean swim site. Epic. Legends. Amaze balls.
