While I truly believe in tolerance in all things, I do prefer bilateral breathing. Imagine the plight of the blogger in the middle of the bay, doing a bit of aquarobics and trying to get an action photo but the swimmer breathers only to one side?! Not as good as bilateral breather at all. Anyway, after that rant, I have to tell you the swim was a good thing to do this morning although it may be that the call to dump the wet suit went out a bit prematurely

I noticed Matt because he is wearing pink tape whihc matches the cap BUT he is also wearing a T Shirt on the 7 km swim around Alcatraz which he did in a spare moment in 2018 when holidaying in the USA. 14 degrees. Strong currents. Sounds a great acheivement.

B&B Fundraising Christmas Party
Please book early for the B & B Christmas Party, which will be held on Tuesday 11th December at 6.30 pm in the Moonshine Bar (2nd Floor) at the Steyne Hotel. All swimmers and partners/friends are welcome (no under 18s unfortunately). The theme is simply “Christmas”, so come dressed in your finest Christmas paraphernalia. The music this year will again be provided by the band, “Gluteus Maximus”, who play two types of music, Rock and Roll! On the night, Royal Far West will be running a monster raffle and auction. Last year, this raised over $4000 for their important programs for disadvantaged kids. There will be fantastic items up for grabs, so be prepared to bid hard.
