Mirth at Sea
I could hear the 6.10 Lamplighters laughing out there in the darkness – as they took several pix in the black black black. So much happiness on the water 🙂

SPORT SPORT SPORT
Hello all you sporting swimmers out there in ocean land! And what a great month July is for international sport! (As we also look towards the Olympics …)
International Triathlon Series – Cozumel
Our Wilf is off to Mexico in September. Once again getting out there – and racing against the world’s best older tri-folks. Legend

And check out these Super Athletes – always swimming full-throttle!

Passively Athletic
Look closely at Yoga Sam’s fingers: see how they are off the ground? Stabilising pressure is channeling into the fingertips. While base load is down thru palms

Clustering Jimbles
There are NO JIMBLES TODAY. I took this pic at Northbridge Baths (fenced-in harbour pool) last weekend. (As with all photos – click to enlarge)

MEN’S WORK
Men’s Wellbeing (Qld-based) invites all Sydney men to the next Common Ground men’s group starting on 30 July. Common Ground is a program run by men, for men. We’ve been running Common Ground for 15 years and we know it works, because men (and their partners) rave about the program. There are profound benefits when men have the opportunity to discuss with other men the things that matter, and have the conversations that they need to have.
(Anyone with questions please feel free to chat with me – I did the course in Byron Bay 14 years ago – Roger Harvey)
This Common Ground will run on the Northern Beaches over two weekends: 30-31 July and 20-21 August.
We are still building our networks in Sydney, so your help in spreading the word can make a big difference. If you know someone who might enjoy a new men’s group why not let them know? For more info – talk to Matty on 0419 172 890 or email matthew.cuttler@menswellbeing.org

Nuddie News
Inge was one of the more exuberant Solstice Swimmers on 22nd … doing a bit of sand-streaking at the Shelly end. She was still on a natural high once at work that morning; only to be told off by her supervisor in a most definite and stern manner. For being ‘too happy’ at work, and ‘too friendly’ with the patients. (Sounds like a good promo for the Solstice tonic.)
Also sounds like that supervisor needs to join the Bolds asap 🙂

Barista Goes Off
So much for the (lack of) swimming report. It’s coffee time. Point Cafe vendor Kane is on holidays at moment – surfing the longest wave in the world (Chicama, Peru). This wave is so long, his board has a sleeping bag on it …

Bake Off
Tri-day Friday cake doesn’t turn up – but then (thank goodness) up pops this birthday within the Magnificent Seven ranks. Belinda often seems like a country girl – but she’s actually inner-city Sydney; with just a touch of bogan. The perfect woman!
Thanks for your superb mimes, Henry and Martin 🙂
