You never know what you are going to see when you come down for a swim. It started out as a normal enough morning… the A-team all arriving late as everyone else got in the water.
You see they have a philosophy called LIFO… last in, first out…
But then (cue full monty music) Sterling started to get his gear off…
First a little shoulder… and then a little more…
The crowds of women started building, and he didn’t stop there…
And all of a sudden it was off, and so were the women running towards the scene…
Well what happened next can’t be shown… particulalry as I am good vicar. But the crowd shot tells it all.
Lovely swim this morning. The water was cool, but not freezing. Good crowd and calm conditions. It was a bit of a hot field for the swim (read race) back. In the line up was Irishman Alex in his fancy pants wetsuit, Brad who is still recovering from his 4th honeymoon with Lucy, The Spaniard who was hungry for a win, as well as other almost contenders such as our stripper, Dreamboat, Richard and the wetsuit-less Scrappy. A classic swim back with the Spaniard out early in the lead, Alex on his feet and yours truly swimming alone on the outside… Modesty (something Sterling lacks) keeps me from giving the final results…
Nice to see the 6:30am crew soaking in a bit of sun on our return. Welcome back Drinksy from a week at Boomerang. I am told the locals ran him out of town for stealing all their waves!
Have a great day. It is good of course to remember how fortunate we are in a broken world to be able to enjoy this simple pleaasure of swimming with friends every morning. But in our own little way, lets all be peacemakers… bringers of shalom into our world!

Those photos of sterling were really hard to look at ;-p …. But after watching that show on guys on Roids last night I’m a bit concerned about Sterling … That can’t be all swimming??? I wonder if wearing a wettie builds the upper body ?

Nice cheer quad Tim.
I called Fifi last night to join her at 6am hoping, for safety’s sake, that there’d be >2 pre-dawn swimmers.
We ended up with a squad of 10 complete with flashing lights plus a crescent moon and Venus rising.

Love the blog Vicar even though it’s a bit hard to read on my phone in this blinding sunshine, balmy heat as I lie on my sunbed in Langkawi before a dip in the 26 degree ocean! Infact I misread that Drinky was steaing all the wives in Boomerang! Hope to see you all wetsuitless on Tuesday! So sorry I’ll miss Jane and LSA xx Sterling is looking amazing. I hope he’s saving himself for a pink capper
