Finding the Joy in today

12/05/20217

Siyabona

CTB the gift that keeps on giving. Today was no exception – a beautiful moody blues view greeted us … what’s not to like. And a great place to find joy first thing in the morning.

One of our golden legends Errol posed for me. He recovered from a stroke and still finds joy in swimming in his 80’s. Onya lovely Errol you inspire us!

The coffee shop would find more joy if the coffee queue was longer just saying

Capless the brownie eater. If he is late he simple dives of the rocks and joins the Drinks Express en route. He finds the joy in almost everything but especially chocolate.

The men of the Tree (MOT’s) posed for joy. Guy was the hero of the piece having spoken so honestly and movingly last night. Thank you for sharing your journey Guy. Another inspiration.

Marco made me retake, gathered some random mates and showed off his swimmers … how some find every day joy hey.

Trooper finds every day joy in swimming with the kid aka Murray. Gorgeous Murray one of our fastest swimmers and a friend pose for joy. Big kids pic. Love it.

Ferry (ask Trooper about these nicknames or if you want one) who comes from Bondi (by ferry of course #clue) to find the joy swimming in Manly with us. Why wouldn’t you. Bondi Shmondi.
Joyfully hanging with Sean, lovely Errols son

Squirrel finds the joy in his every day swim. Ask him how it was on any given day the answer is ‘fantastic’. I never rely on him assessing my swim risk appetite.
Here with the WOWS or forming a rock band ‘Squirrel and the Chicks’ with Nat, Pinky, Clare and Amanda #theyfoundthejoy

Today I met lovely ( yes everyone is lovely that’s my filter) fellow Saffer Kyle who finds joy in his 11 month old bub sweet Caroline and the beaches lifestyle. Yebo the beaches rock.

Nat and Pinky , lovely WOW young guns (WYG’s),

emerge with joy after a fabulous swim today. Water at 19.6 C is pretty good.

Ian with Fi and Georgina. Ian said he found joy in Pauline of course (and his afternoon nap). Strict instructions to put in that order.

Sorry due to a technical glitch I cannot do the usual management  blurb at this point except remember all swimming is at your own risk. Please refer to yesterday’s blog for management messages.

All for today,

Hambe Kahle ( go well/ gently)

Di
