What a morning! But were we in Fiji or Antarctica?

But 4 degrees? Felt like Antarctica!
Good to see Keith back. I texted him at 6:45am ‘Swim time!’ He felt the lack of swimming on the way over and back…
It was a cracker of a swim back from Shelly Beach this morning. I know what you are all wondering… what was the result between the A-team? Now I know you all love the A-teams antics… right? Right?
Well it was perfect conditions for a big hit out on the way back. The Spaniard was there, Brad was there, Scotty was there… Irishman Alex was there (though seemed a touch preoccupied with a new lady friend)… And yes (because if I don’t mention them I will get in trouble…) JP and Sterling were there. Both the GeeOhh brothers were there… but with some reprieve from James’ recent red hot form after his goggles broke! So it was Spaniard and me across the bay with Brad on our feet. It came down to a flat out sprint around the rocks… Dead heat!
And here is JP.. beaten by Sterling and beaten by the rocks!

Antarctica! You A team wouldn’t even know the meaning of cold!! ;p
water was 17.7 today!
I made the mistake of being a bit cold before I went into the water..
So I had to turn back near “Attracta Rock”… I just didn’t have it in me to make the whole journey ..actually I turned back at half way 😉
Did anyone else turn back??
