Thanks to the Spaniard for writing last Thursdays blog. Despite record amount of people reading his musings, we have decided to limit his contributions to once a month. So it’s the Bishop back on board this week… and hopefully Dr Becky next week if she can squeeze it in between delivering babies at Manly Hospital.
Anyhow… a final reflection on last weekends Winter Triple Crown. Here is my daughter with the Triple Crown Cup… her last words to me being “do me proud daddy… and how about a nappy change, I have been sitting in this poop for over an hour!”
Here we are 3 days later handing over said trophy to Scrappy Scotty who put in a dominant performance over all 3 days. Well done to the new champ (who since then has been taking it very easy in his daily swims). Hope keeps asking me where the trophy has gone ;(
This morning we arrived in Manly to a wonderful sunrise! The Drinks Express were on their way in and the 7am crew headed out.
Kelly was first in this morning in her new ‘ready for work’ wetsuit. Here she is surrounded by Manpower Manly. Clearly Sterling has been hanging around Dreamboat for too long as he seems to have perfected the pulled back arm photo pose.
Finally Silky sends his love from the South Pacific. He will try and be back for the Spring Triple Crown in September.
That is it from me. We will resume our series on ROCKS OF THE BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL soon, but in the meantime, get down for a swim. The water is still warm, the heaters are on at Manly Wine and we miss you when you are not there. We do life better when we do it together!

Lunch with greats of Rugby Union and League
On Friday 13, June, the Royal Far West together with Hotel Steyne Manly is holding a lunch from 12.30pm until 2pm to Celebrate Country Rugby in NSW. Special guests include Glenn Stewart, Scott Gourle and Ron Pilon.
Ian is putting together a table for the B&B so please let him know if you are interested in attending by sending him an email to ugoboyo@gmail.com, or see him at the swim ‘cause he is there most mornings. As the B&B is a special friend of the RFW we are being offered a discount off the advertised price.
Winter Badge season kicked off 1 June.
We are now into week 3 of the Winter Badge season. There are 14 weeks in the winter season. To qualify for the prized Cold & Bold Badge you simply need to swim 20 times within the season ensuring you have swum in a minimum of 7 different weeks. So, attempting to do it all in the first few weeks does not count!!
B&B i-Log
Really if you haven’t been using the B&B i-Log then you must be new!! Almost 75% of swimmers are now using the B&B i-Log. Log your swim ANYTIME of day using this really efficient and easy way to ensure your swim is recorded in the daily attendance and on the Pacific Challenge. To get started, send an email to Ian Forster ugoboyo@gmail.com (This is not a link so please copy and paste into your email). He will check that your email address is activated on the attendance register then send you info on how to get started.

A challenge to all our wonderful fishy photographers! Read this email from Mark at the OzMus:
“HiJane,
The site lacks a video of this species:Eastern Kelpfish, Chironemus marmoratus
http://australianmuseum.net.au/Eastern-Kelpfish-Chironemus-marmoratus
Do you think one of the b&b gang could give it a shot?
Thank you. 🙂 Mark

I have total confidence that you can all rise to the challenge – who can be first?

“Like” (from Manly)- To give Tim and the other bloggers an idea of how many people read the B&B blog simply say “Like” in this comments section each time you read it.
I saw two (2) dusky whaler sharks today on the way to Shelly @7am. They were on the edge of the seaweed section halfway between the pool and Shelly.

Was Scotty drinking champagne out of the trophy? (and is that how he usually looks after a drink?)

Saying LIKE and no actual comment would be annoying Simon! 😉

What a coincidence – I was wondering how Swim Girl was, and there she is on the blog today! She keeps a low profile.
