‘Mary, Mary, where you goin’ to?’  She’s in the City, but I have extra pix from Badge Sunday to cover for today.   Newbie Rachel is from Turramurra: “I read about the group in the media a few years ago.  I’m doing a few triathlons, so have come along today.  I’ve been reading the blog...

Sure, life is a journey.  One that really only begins with the realisation that it isn’t about going somewhere else.  It is about coming back. You already possess that which you seek.  The true journey is crossing the chasm from who we think we should be, to welcome home the person we are. The ocean...

The sky is grey, the waves are wavy but we’re all having fun at a Royal Far West. Blog coverage today comes from the school, and our winter badge ceremony. What a turn out! And all for these! The 2014, winter badges! First, let’s report on today’s swim. Here’s Nick explaining to a confused John...

It is Jane Stevenson’s birthday today. Jane is our oldest female swimmer and an absolute inspiration to us all. She swims whatever the weather without a wetsuit, has such a positive attitude and never grumbles about anything! The great news is the water temperature is steadly rising!!   And Jane is back from holidays.   The...

For today’s blog you really need to have young kids in your life who love “Tangled” – Disney’s latest version of  Rapunzel.   Note – in keeping with the Rapunzel theme there will be no ‘wet hair’ shots today.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0HFaG-5DSE   When will my life begin? 7 AM, the usual morning lineup Fifi waving in this...

… and in bed when I’m supposed to be swimming/blogging ! Despite my best efforts to forgo my blogging responsibilities today, it was to no avail … so rather selfie-ishly I am dedicating todays blog to me, and all the lovely and sometimes unlikely B&B friends who attended Dreamboats going-away party … a perfect testimony...
