Oopsie! Not only did I show up late,  also did not check the calendar. I started with Jo Gregory. We both expressed sadness over the absence of the cheesy one. Hopefully he will be back soon. I’d been reading the blogs from the past week with some excitement, but had also checked the forecast and...

And now… here is a look at last week – the photos I took but could not download: AND NOW TO TODAY’S BEAUTIFUL MORNING   YES. The temp is over 20. Was it really only a few months ago it was under 15? And there is still some sea weed but much less. And quite...

Now there has been much debate over the years, and indeed the generations, around the appropriate content for the B&B blog. And us bloggers are concerned about writing for our readers, and there are up to 9 readers per blog from our 8,000 swimmers. Some say focus on swimming, some say focus on something philosophical,...

We haven’t had really great conditions for a while but today was one of those special swims! The sun shone, the ocean was flat and calm, weed and stingers weren’t a bother and the water was clear! We swam over Port Jackson Sharks,...

It may be hard to tell that seasons have changed on land but you can tell change of seasons in the sea. Water temperature changes, appearance of sea weed, people going overseas to enjoy the northern hemisphere during summer etc. Su and Greg are back in their natural environment. Welcome back   I also took...

Today was one of those days when you’re glad you get out of bed for the swim. Conditions were wonderful, water was 17.5 degrees ( felt like 14.5 initially ) , the sun is out and there’s no stingers.  A bit of seaweed still on the sand but I managed to avoid that by entering...
