19/08/2021 – Calm and Sunny Thursday

August 19, 20213

Lovely to have Little Sarah Abbott ( LSA) and hubby Jon back with us swimming after trying for months to get here from Hong Kong! Stunning morning down at Cabbage Tree Bay. I’m filling in for Anne E who can’t be here unfortunately due to covid. We had 16.1 water temp recorded by Guy at 6.45am. The air temp is rising and I’m opting for a later swim with mermaid Bibi today. I took photos during my run today though!

Taken from a secret spot I go to for a great shot of CTB

Always great to see these two swimming as they couldn’t swim a stroke 4 years ago! Harvie takes her ’wee pal’ Bob along as her safety blanket. She didnt come across any sharks in Glasgow but is starting to like them 😉

Doing this blog on my phone so weird things happen like sideways photos. Chrissy and Helsy pre-swim

Michael and Jo wave as they go in around 7.40am

Craig and Alistair loved their swim and saw a few PJs

Gunnar and Janet are in a bubble of course, and like a later swim

I catch honeymoon couple ( almost 2 years now) Corinne and Dave after their swim 😊💕

Very quiet at 8.30am…

Plenty of PJs and Gropers at the moment. Shaun reported a Wobbie and Cuttlefish but most of the Cuttlefish have gone now…

Happy Tuesday wherever you are. Thinking of those of you that can’t get your Vitamin Sea xx

Thanks, Lainey! Great cover shot and we’re delighted to be back with all the super-friendly B&Bs again!
The longer you’re away the more you appreciate it when you return.
Best wishes to all those swimming elsewhere or taking up other kinds of exercise in the meantime. Stay safe and fit!
