Tuesday 20 October 2015 – A Summers Swim
Classic start to a Summers Day
A perfect Summers swim with a low tide and classic Summer Nor Easter poking into South Steyne. With 2 foot of swell on a 7 second period, it was about as close as you get to a standard Summers day but thankfully no bities in the water. With a hint of the last southerly swell still in the mix and a classic low tide rip gouging the point we all sat further out today to avoid the bump.
The pre swim relaxation class
20.3 and and the bump to keep you warm.
Now the official party has arrived we can get started
And a flurry of first timers to experience the best swim in the world
It looks bumpy but it was really quite relaxing
Where else would you be but here.
A glimpse from beyond the bump
And the quiet of the cove
The sun now at our backs
Even sparkles was out to brighten the day
Pink Hat view
Back to the bump for the slide home through the rip
The long walk home
The welcoming committee
And Mascots
And the most gorgeous smile to match the best swim.
Have a great day and I’ll see you the other side of next week.
Cheers
Brian
