Just a quick blog today. Apologies for lateness… between swimming and coffee, trying to finish renovating our place so we can move in before Christmas and writing Christmas sermons… the day got away from me!
Anyhow, stunning morning – 99+ swimmers including 9 who swam Boulderdash to Queenscliff. Pete Anthony told me this morning that real men do the Boulderdash. Personally I am happy with our little frolick across to Shelly!
Sterling forgot his swimmers and his mum made him wear his undies in the swim…
These beautiful ladies are a bit like 2WSFM – the greatest hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s…
Today the pace on the way back was way too fast for me to handle. The Spaniard, Irishman Alex and Brad set off with a cracking pace from Shelly. Brad must be shortening in the odds for the Summer Triple Crown which starts on Christmas Eve, followed by Boxing Day and New Years Eve. No doubt though it will come down to conditions, tactics and how much the participants ate and drank the night before.
And nice to have Keith back in town swimming. He rides a very stripped back Harley to the swim each morning…
And for those following the adventures of our little girl the Shmope – she received this last week…

LOL love Shmope’s eviction notice! very cute and she doesn’t look the least bit bothered.. she’s probably glad to get out!
