With a late get-up today, the Sun was already ahead of us and cooking by the time the tread hit the road. So much so the rubber was not even contemplated. Next to no swell and next to no wind pretty well sums it up. 180 souls took to the good ship B&B and set sail this morning. 4 new to the roost and will most certainly be back.

So having just returned from a great week in the Blue waters off the Tonga Trench I thought I should share with you an encounter we had with a whale calf just offshore the island of Vavau. (hope it works for you, just copy it completely to your browser address line)

In close the Drummer were gahering.

As we got deeper the clours changed.

With no waves or wind it made for an easy workout to Shelley.

And then on return it was Tim’s 1000 K celebration.

And finally a very happy birthday to my sweetheart Melissa.
