After a couple of weeks of rain, debris in the water, wild conditions and the feeling of swimming in a cappuccino… this morning was back to Bold & Beautiful glory!
Lots of people out and about in Manly doing their ‘thing’ whether that be in and outs with the surf club, booty camp with their pin up boy Storchy leading the way… or our very own Bold and Beautiful swimmers heading into the water!
It was 22.4 degrees in the drink… and it felt like a warm embrace from a long lost friend! Clarity returning, conditions restored to calm and inviting.
Voted Manly’s nicest guy the last 22 years running… Derek is never one for the spotlight!
The early leader off Shelley Beach this morning was none other than Sterling… putting in a very strong first 100m.
Kara always competitive up front…
But it was the Ghost who took out top of the podium today with a big effort out front!
An old acquaintance of mine, from my church in London, book has gone to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list. It’s a wonderful collection of ink drawings called ‘The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse’. This is my favourite page from it… and a beautiful goal for all of us!
Have a great day… and if you have been holding off… get back down to the swim! The beautiful in Bold and Beautiful is back!
