Anniversaries, Badges, Birthdays,Yogi’s & My Last Blog !

08/09/201621

The Yogi’s were all lined up for their morning of Ummm-ing

Nothing like a good Um & a Namaste to get you going for the day !

Yes, I was shocked at how warm the water is too !

What a lovely bunch of new friends get-together for a photo & with Rainer practising his best Haka.

Wow, John what a milestone 2000K’s

Another milestone ! Peta turning ?0 today doesn’t look a day over 18

All the above water photos were taken by the loveable Zainey Lainey Loo.

Ted gets in practice with Nicky for his milestone of 26 years married to Lainey Loo today.

John getting the honor guard march up the ramp for the 2000k

Nothing better for blog tarts to get their photos taken as well.

Martin snuck in his 1000k last Sunday without all the palaver, but paid the price !

Martin had to do 4.5k to get his 1000k badge , but his wet suit got a bit Chaffey.

Lyndall couldn’t believe Martins neck got so chaffed.

Sarah just thought it was funny.

Millie had the most fun with Brad playing in puddles.

She doesn’t look her age, whatever that is ! Peta emerges after her dose of vitamin Sea.

Booty Boss John & crew are off after an early swim.

I caught two guys vowing for the gorgeous Annie’s attention !

First the loveable Jonny Schaffer.

The next one !

was the also gorgeous Ian McKnight who is having his 27year anniversary  tomorrow !

Lots of sighting of Shelly the turtle out in the middle,

but only Ted managed to capture her !

Derek just ponders the thought.

So don’t forget to get your badges on Sunday after the swim.

Staying safe

Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Great Blog Shelley. Well done to get those 27 years up, I’m not far behind you.
Thanks to all for the “Congrats”, fanfare, etc. for 2000k. It is fun to enjoy the reward the milestones. Just have to set a new milestone now, maybe 3000kms. I’ll have to ask John and Fiona what’s its like disappearing off the (Google) earth. Is it worth it? We know what the answer is. 🙂 . . 🙂

    Yo Shelly!
This can be your last blog before your op, but if you change your mind about blogging, when you’re ready to return to the water, that would be OK with me.
