An Ode to Sterling

Well may they say…

Hang on, wrong speech.

Obviously a momentous day in our national story… it was Sterling’s 5 year anniversary of joining the Bold and Beautiful swim.

Yes our favourite slowest member of the A-team celebrated 5 life transforming years down at the swim. He was even granted the “let’s Go” after begging John…

As Roger’s cartoon says, he has lived a full life… made fuller by his participation in our little swim. He quickly rocketed up the ladder by swimming every day, often twice, and despite coming in around 7th to 12th each day, often calls it a tie!

He’s a great mate, and as he told me once, when he joined and life was pretty tough at the time, it was his faith and the swim that got him through! Well done mate – we love you and we look forward to many more years of being annoyed by your “7 O’clock” call each morning!

Back to the swim… cold and rainy! But where else would you want to be…

JP was at Fashion Week last night with his new best friend Jenifer Hawkins… still riding that high…
