Shelly, you’ve done it again. After unwavering persistance, The elusive Swimmer of the Day is mine!
    I sniff some insider trading….
Loved every minute of the Xmas party…crazy costumes, celebratory badges, Greg’s surf honour, kick-arse band (thanks James) and of course the melting pot of Christmas Chaotic greatness on the dance floor… What a fun night! I heart Bolds! Thank you so much to the organisers. Awesome job.
    P.S. I’ve decided I’m over-exposed now…time to lay low ’til my 1000km. 🙂

    Great Work Shelly,
Thank you for the multiple photos –
I really like the action shot of me on the wave!
LSA and I look to have lined you up a date Shelly.
    Lainey – too slow!!!

Can someone pls enlighten me on the swimmer of the day stats. They never make sense to me. So I figure I am missing something. Seven what ? 330 Shelly’s x 1.5 = 495 + 3 for a bolderdash = 498 then 7 x ??? = 509. Each time I see them I wonder what the last # is. Not doubles so ??? Thanks

    Good question Elizabeth X,
I too was wondering what that 7 was… (Thought Shelly playing with us, but it seems the software generated that one). But now with your maths, I’m guessing it is halfway/Shelly/return.

Yeh, PETE, can’t believe you haven’t met today’s blogger, Shelly, before!
Shelly, you’ll have to be a little patient til Pete’s off the benches in mid Jan…and he’s got a couple of dates lined up already, so you may slip in at no 3.
Poor Sky has been showing a bit too much attitude, he says, so she’s slipped to no 4. Helps if you appreciate his avalanches of abundance with gratitude and show some real soul along with that fine body:-)

“and & 7″ are the same key on the keyboard ! I assume its a software typo !
although it gives a random number after each ‘and” if you go back, so that blows that theory.

Wow, who’s Pete no3 is fine, Who are 1 & 2 ??? I know what you mean about Sky, gets a bit lippy at times.
She was dancing up a storm last night & didn’t front today, so maybe she got lucky.

Sky did make it to coffee at least……no 1 is Snorkles – she gets priority status for being the calendar girl, apparently. Also Pete’s still under the illusion that she’ll just sit there quietly, smiling sweetly…. (I think one date will fix that and your turn will come very quickly). Forget who no 2 is…. play your cards right and you may get a promotion:)

I have always assumed that the ‘and 7’ means 7 doubles or triples and that the software doesn’t distinguish between them, so leaves it blank… but I’ve never done the maths

Love your blog Shelly. You gave us a great recap on the fantastic Chrissie party. Move over Bruce Baird (Dr Love indeed) I started a few romances rolling last night. There’ll be a B&B baby before long I bet.
I was preparing for a photo bomb not having a seizure at Shelly, Shelly!

    It’s very simple
    330 x 1.5 km Shelly swims
    1 x 3 bolder
    7 dry ticks
Actual wet kms swum – 498km
Looks like your up for another 500kms on SATURDAY!!!

Ok you two! Gossiping behind my back are you??? 😉 😉 Perhaps I’ll just have to abundant you both with an avalanche of lippy soul !!! 😉
…and don’t worry…..I bought Pete a coffee this morning, so am hoping to reclaim that no.3 spot!

    Hi Annie
Thanks yes I expect you are right 7 x 1.5 = 10.5 ie round up to 11. So I suppose thats it but the numbers didnt quite work out when I tried to apply that to Peter Woods’ tally today. Very close but not exactly there. Maybe its all others ie half ways, doubles, triples etc??
    Management?
