Over 81 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Manly turned on more serene conditions this morning with crystal clear water that is so calm you could be forgiven for thinking you were floating in the bath, ok well an aquarium.
There’s every chance we may feature in Sprout Daily again today as, as you can see from the second photo, their guest photographer, Andrew was out and about enjoying photographing us all enter the water this morning 🙂

There’s lots of plankton, luminous blue phosphorescence and little crustaceans around at the moment which you can hear going snap, crackle, pop especially off the point.

A Luderwick with someone else’s tail…

The gorgeous Yellow Catfish rummaging for food at the point

And a perfect rainbow to close another perfect swim.

3 swimmers enjoyed a pleasant early stretch up to Queenscliff, 5 enjoyed an early lap into Shelly and 10 lapped it up with a double after the regular swim 🙂
All eyes were on Baby Brigitte after the swim…

Check out these great B&B on tour photos of Saane Dreyer horse riding and enjoying a dip up at Bo-Warra in Barrington Tops 🙂

Happy Birthday to Tony Smuts today 🙂

It seems Julie Speer has started a new B&B fashion… all in the name of keeping warm apres swim, I’m sure it’s gonna be a real hit 😉

If you’re around today at 2pm the World Premier of “Biddies” is having it’s final dress rehearsal at Glen St Theatre and the director has invited you to sit in completely free. While there may be some stops and starts it adds to the atmosphere of seeing the show unfold. Anyone interested should just turn up at Glen Street Theatre (cnr Glen Street & Blackbutts Road, Belrose) between 1.30pm and 1.50pm and tell the Box Office you’re there for the dress rehearsal. If anyone has any questions you can contact Mary on 8426 1802.
If you can’t attend today but you would like to see it you can take advantage of B&B’s special discount by mentioning us at the time of booking 🙂

Hmmm! I must have had the time wrong this morning as I didn’t see Izzy or Nicole at what I thought was 6.30. Maybe they swam up to QC??
I’m in again for tomorrow. 6.30 in the water again. Too good to miss at the moment.

Jules, I may be wrong but I thought Sprout’s photographer today is called David?
Either way, what a nice man he seems to be. Let’s get him to join us for a swim!

What a beautiful swim this morning!
It is so nice to get back in the water again, and for it to be so warm, clear and flat. And also getting a cheeky swim with Princess Pete – which doesn’t happen to often these days 🙂
I’m glad to hear that the Brigitte was stealing hearts on her walk with my Mum – Thanks Mum.
On a completely different topic –
I found this link about an ocean swimming dog, which I thought was very cute
