Over 20 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
In theory the conditions weren’t great for swimming but as always we all went in with smiles on our faces and came out with even bigger smiles and lots of laughing! The beach was closed at Manly so respectfully we all walked around to half-way and had lots of fun getting in around there.

Jane the trouper that she is, was back in again after damaging the stairs at half way with her leg – see bruise… on stairs to right of Jane’s leg!

A fabulous bumpy ride all the way into Shelly but with happy faces on arrival!
It’s a brief bon voyage to our great leaders – Jules and Michael as they head overseas for a few weeks (the fill-in blogger will be anticipating their speedy.. I mean safe return!)

Husband and wife team – Charlton and Shannon on their maiden-swim-together-swim! Along with some terrific creative shots – an amazing underwater photo and the other, a splashy shot of Jules and Michael helping Jane out of the water, or is it dragging her out?!

On the return swim (into half-way) it was like a game of human dodgems, everyone bumping into each other! And finally a good team effort to make sure Jane exited without anymore damage to the stairs. 😉

Well done everyone – see you all tomorrow!!

by the way despite what MSW predicted, this morning looked actually smaller than yesterday.
Tomorrow morning is meant to be nice, specially is you are a surfer! Once behind the waves it should be quite enjoyable!

Great job Lesley and very best wishes for your trip, Jules & Michael.
Michael, only just read the full “surf safety” tips – excellent. “Don’t panic” and “Don’t swim against the rip”, no matter what! Lots of great detail.
