72 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Michael was taking the water temp amongst the neon lights this morning.

Some gorgeous dawn photos from Gaetan including another rainbow this morning 🙂

Thankfully the seas are slowly on their way back down, but there’s still plenty of water moving around out there so about half of our swimmers braved the waves and the other sensible half meandered around to Half Way Beach, all meeting up at Shelly of course.

Did I say sensible… ??

The sun was certainly making it’s presence known with a radiant glow reflecting everywhere.

As always, everyone was pretty happy to be out amongst it this morning 🙂

And then there’s the man behind the mask and some more random feet…

For those of you who were swimming with B&B this time last year you may remember from Gaetan’s amazing video (which you can watch here) that there were two Saints on Iain’s boat when he successfully swam solo across the English Channel !! One of the Saints was Gaetan and the other was Richard who had never even met Iain before… well as you can see below, Richard is currently out here proudly swimming with us as part of his three week holiday. It’s great to have you here Richard 🙂

Good luck to Nicole P who is off to the US today to assist her friend Roger swim around Manhattan Island !! Nicky will keep us posted on their mammoth adventure.
We will hold another Orca wetsuit fitting in Manly if there is enough interest, so please let me know asap if you would like to attend at 6.30-7pm in Manly on Fri 22nd June. I will then let you know where of course.
Don’t forget to put next Thursday morning, 21st June, in your diary as a must do 7am B&B swim as it is the Winter Solstice !! Maybe you could even try it without a wetsuit… To mark the occasion Matt has designed you your very own, one off, B&B Winter Solstice Swimmer bumper sticker… not one to be missed.
303 people are currently on target for their 2012 winter badge, but if you haven’t started your winter swims yet it’s not too late… there are still 77 days and 11 weeks of winter left !! Check out the list of who’s who in the winter zoo here

How can I get a gig going to New York to ‘support’ a swimmer??? Does the swimmer pay for you to go?!?!??!? 😉
Good luck to Roger!

I had to enlarge that photo to see what was going on with your legs!!!
I guess a second set of feet could be useful.
Do you swim faster?

Me too! I thought we might have had an ‘alien’ discovery. Only people from the “Silent Planet” have feet coming out of their calves like that.

Casper and peg say so too. I saw them a couple of days ago on a walk and they look happy and well fed.
