61 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
It was an exciting swim this morning with a 2 degree increase in water temperature and NO jimbles !!

Someone said it was cloudy and drizzling this morning… really ?? There was sooo much to see underwater we didn’t notice.
The viz was fantastic you could see the bottom the whole way across. There were a couple of large blue gropers, a beautiful goatfish shining red, a half eaten dead cuttlefish 🙁 and an eastern fiddler ray to mention just a few… 🙂

We were all pretty happy… what’s new I know 🙂

Gaetan and James ventured up to Queensie and back for a wetsuitless ‘Colderdash’ while 5 swimmers enjoyed the pre-dawn lap into Shelly and 2 enjoyed the double afterwards with Mechelle doing all 3 🙂
There was plenty of whale watching to be had at brekkie as there were a couple of whales going crazy with their back flips, fin flaps and tail slaps just off the Bower – it was superb !! 7am tomorrow please Mr Whale 🙂

There is a lovely article in the Manly Daily today of our farewell swim for Bruce on Sunday. You can view it online here
It seems that Leonie, Mahdi and Vicki are doing it pretty tough on tour in the Cook Islands ! But don’t worry about them too much as they have assured us there is definitely no cooking going on ! Uhmmm…. how about the swimming ladies, is there any of that ???

The first of our new B&B monthly special is on tomorrow evening from 6.30pm at Bluewater ! $18 dinner includes shared entrees, a selection of mains to choose (incl vegetarian option) and corkage (for byo wine only) ! All beers (including 4 pines) and desserts only $5. We have the whole restaurant to ourselves, but there are still a couple more spaces so don’t miss out, please come along and join in the fun, but bookings are essential so to book please click here
On a sad note… our thoughts are with Greg McDonagh and his family at this time as his sister sadly passed away peacefully in Queensland this morning.

Hi B&B gang- finally got my hands on a computer to see how Bruce’s send off went- thought of you all at 2pm sat(7am sun. For you)Wow- you guys are awsome (I would like to book in for the same thing in about 40-50 years please) Bruce would have been so chuffed with that- very emotional looking at all those pics.- probably the reason I was halfway around the world for it. Missing you all and Manly xx love from California- Kelly

Kelly darling Mermaid! So nice to hear from you, and yes you were missed at Bruce’s send-off. It was perfect and you would have thought so too.
Enjoy your time in California, I hope you’re warm and toasty because it sure aint summery here.
Greg, very sad to hear of your loss. Thinking of you and hope you are coping alright. xx

Greg Mc, our condolences and very best wishes to you and your sister’s husband and family at this time. We know she was really fortunate and blessed to have such a loving and caring big bro through all her difficulties and illness.
We are thinking of you and looking forward to seeing you when you come back to Manly.
(Thx Jules!)
p.s Ann, hope your back recovers very soon….

Not missing the jimbles not missing the cold water but I’m really sorry that I missed Bruce’s send off. As I read all the comments and viewed the photos it makes you realize how lucky and special the B and B group is.
The water is warm and clear overhear But no fish!!!!
