116 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
How clear was it this morning… oh SOOOOO clear !!!

It was one of those perfect winter swims, where it really just doesn’t get any better than this ! Which was pretty handy as we had 7 first timers join us this morning, including Rosemary all the way from Goulburn 🙂

And two of Graham’s three children, Hayman and Morgan 🙂

It must have been sooo nice that even Brad and Lucy got distracted as Jonny managed to sneak in between them 😉

Not so for Andrew and Megan though 😉

Alyson and Elaine were both pretty excited to be back amongst us after their holidays.

Who wouldn’t be too 🙂
The view was spectacular at the point this morning, both above

and below the water

Plus… it stayed that clear, that’s crystal clear, the whole way across ! You could see swimmers underwater from about 50 metres away and each grain of sand. It was simply superb !!
It’s always fun to catch up with friends at Shelly, just like our North Steyne swimmers this morning

Then you feel ready for the swim back

Where 3 Dusky Whalers were seen, plus 2 gorgeous Giant Cuttlefish, 1 lovely big Blue Groper, oh and Charlie too 🙂 Plus I’m sure I could hear dolphins 😉

The numbers for the double and triple exploded with 14 swimmers continuing on for the double lap and 4 for the triple – well done 🙂

Thanks as always Julie and now Leslie for the blog and photos. I’ve been battling a bad back for many weeks now and ended up in emergency surgery to remove a loose piece of disc on Thursday night. The images of swimming and imagining swimming got me through some painful and scary moments -another wonderful side-effect of B&B. I’ve got a few weeks of rest ahead of me but hope to be back in the water in time to squeak in enough swims for a winter badge. Miss you all and sorry to miss swimming with Neil on the weekend. Happy swims!!

Anne. Rest up and just think. At least you’re not missing the warm water of summer…it could be worse. 🐟🐳🐬

Ann, lovely to hear from you and sorry to hear you back went from bad to worse. Do hope you’ll be on the mend now and we’ll have you back in the water very soon, even if only for a little paddle to the point.
I agree that visualising a swim to Shelly with the B&B is a great way to get through painful moments. Lots of love….
Neil, great to see you…… Madlen soon as well, I hope.
