Friday December 20 is going to be the first scorcher of the season – and to all those waiting in the queues out at the Wet and Wild… here’s something to bring a tear to your eye…
208 Swimmers showed up at our little corner in Manly… ready for some fun…

Time for a quick “Where’s Winston” – beginner level…

It’s Ness’s last day 🙁
We’ve had some fun swims Nessie – we’re going to miss you, but it’ll be choice eh broo over there in Queenstown – you’ll love it.

There were some “colourful swimming identities” ths morning…

You can tell from this shot, exactly who doesn’t put their heads down when the minister says “let us pray”

Ness is the blog tart of the day of course….

She did the “Let’s Go”

The only fish I saw was this flathead with a smaller fish’s tale sticking out his mouth…
He was fine with it .. he just swam off…

Guess who won today….

…and someone was happy to see us back…

Here’s some pics of the 10km swim last Sat…. 6am start for the good looking group…

John Lehmann took these great shots..

Smooth arrival at Curl Curl…

John Bond’s group

With the aim of becoming carbon neutral the B&B Login App reduces our paper consumption. Log your swim between 5am and 9am for the easy way to ensure your swim is recorded in the daily attendance and on the Pacific Challenge.

New way to log in Old way to log in.
To get started, send an email to Ian Forster (
ugoboyo@gmail.com). He will check that your email address is activated on the attendance register then send you info on how to get started. Happy clicking.
Summer badge swims are go!!
Every Saturday during summer there will be a 6km swim – usual route is to Freshwater and back, then once a month a 10km swim. Route depends on conditions that day so it is a good idea to arrive a little early to have a briefing from Squadron Leader John ‘007’ Bond. The next 10km swim to be held on 11 January depending on conditions.

I love that photo of the flathead and his tasty little fish-prey. And, of course, Turbo’s joy jump!

It’s not an ‘elephant in the room’, it’s a ‘groper in the water’.

Didn’t you hear the latest rumour? Not the ones about me swimming in circles for 8 hrs, Nick taking the bus from Queensie, Shaun crawling on rocks whilst hallucinating, Chris swimming backwards to Freshie or Jon taking off with everyone’s money, but the one about how Bernard groped his way to Curly?
Nothing boring about a 10K swim:)

JK – Amazing! Maybe that’s it’s natural defence – refuse to be digested?
