The waves looked ‘big’ again this morning as this photo shows!! But it can be deceiving from this vantage point! They sometimes look smaller than they are, you go in and get hammered OR They look HUGE but in fact are not! You can never tell! Today they seemed big but were NOT on the way out BUT big on the way in!?!

A gorgeous new girl turned up today or is it?? Keep reading on….

Chris just back from the early swim…. seems to have survived!

There was a mystical quality to the morning….
I was swimming along after Let’s Go and taking a few photos of the yellow tail when…
…someone swam past!!..oi cheeky!… !! Can you guess who??
John Kelly celebrated his birthday (for yesterday) and did the Let’s Go! 😀
Yes this is the mystery new girl!! Lips aka Hoff decided after seeing The Hoff pics and Rusty’s new pants that he needed a modern upgrade! Lainey Loo seen here looking up adoringly…the new pants are WORKING already!!

Jane was mesmerised!
Jeff and his daughter JEMMA – check out the left of the pic – a rare opportunity to see a Master Blog Tart in action…
Incredible!!!

It was beautiful out there this morning….
THEN I got back to the Point and the waves seems HUGE! Here’s Lainey Loo screaming for help!
THIS is why I decided to turn back and go in at half way…

Where I saw a few MILLION baby fish!!!

Some more of our lovely regulars….
And an abandoned pair of blue pants on the Steps!! um… I wonder who’s they are??
Bye for now Lesbubbles!
ps. If you want to know the STATS you can actually go to the top of the blog / left and side and click on B&B Attendance (see red arrow) – that shows Who swum, How Many and even the water temperature!

Get your diarys out because THE Bold and Beautiful Quiz Night is coming to town!!

Could you run 6 days through the Sahara Desert??
The lovely long time swimmer Patrick Coleman asked if I could put this up for a colleague of his (and BnB swimmer) who will be running “The Marathon Des Sables” (a race in the Sahara) next month….take a read …it looks totally hard core!!!
Jake Coates (below) a young doctor who swims with us and who is best mates and works at Manly Hospital with Jim Walker (who swam the “channel” for charity last year!) will run the “Marathon Des Sables” in ten days time. This event is dubbed the “toughest footrace on earth” – 250km across the Sahara Desert over 6 days (more than 90km on day 5 alone!) where you have to carry all your own gear for the week……on your back……the entire distance! Jake has been training for months frequently rising at 4am and running 30-40Km before rocking up for a days work! Proceeds are being donated to ovarian cancer research, a condition from which Jake’s aunt has recently been diagnosed. Please support Jake if you can: https://www.justgiving.com/Jacob-Coates1

(You can read more about the race here http://www.marathondessables.com/en/)

L O S T SWIMMING GEAR!!!!!
I was sitting at the benches today and had my flippers, swimmers, goggles and yellow rushie just under the benches while I was going to pick up something. When I came back all my gear was gone. Maybe someone of you guys thought I forgot it and rescued it? I really hope so!
Please contact me via phone 040/6888156 or via email: TLochschmied@gmx.de
THANKS a lot!

Why is the always some pants left behind? Who’s are the pants? Is it the same person who loses the pants? Does we wake up in the morning and say “I’ll just pop my pants on – oh, hang on a sec – I’ve lost them all”.

Lovely shot of all the juveniles, Lesbubbles. Their schools are awesome at the moment. Isn’t it amazing how they all swim the same way – check out this link:

My daughter Jemma is visiting from Jakarta and swam with me this morning. I loved the manner in which the B&B community warmly welcomed her. The B&B is a very special group and I felt proud being a member.

Actually, it’s lovely to meet family members and very sporty of Jemma to tackle the surf today! Look forward to seeing her again tomorrow. Now she’ll be able to follow her Dad on the blog when she’s in Indo and know what he’s raving about:-)

this morning I too retrieved some lone flippers which had been left on the LSC BnB table from about 8 am till 10 am and were looking lost.
If they belong to you, phone me on 0411 31 61 41 and I’ll get them to you,
