Which translates as “It is tossed by the waves but it does not sink”
Autumn is a wonderful time of year in Sydney as the water is at it’s warmest and the balmy weather lingers on and on. This morning was just stunning with the water and air temperatures both around 23 degrees, little wind and smooth seas.
While we are all looking forward to the end of daylight saving and a bit of a sleep in there is something magic about watching the sunrising over the horizon while diving in Cabbage Tree Bay.

John Bond going the extra mile (as he does) in regard to recording the temperature.

I heard that one of our swimmers just had a new baby so congratulations, could this be the happy couple?

Another proud mother having her first swim with her daughter

A family photo!

And this is almost the first time for these two, but not for Sarah!

Bruce has been very busy attending board meetings but still found time for a swim

Here is his change of clothes ready to go, I wonder which board he is attending today?

And now for some photos!

John Bond et al waiting at the point to do an extra mile!

Storchy just wanted to set the record straight!

Fish and other underwater creatures!

There is nothing trivial about the Trivia Night – Save the date!!
The next significant date in the B&B social calendar is the annual Trivia Night at the Steyne Hotel on Tuesday 6th May! So save the date, gather your team, and start preparing to join the exclusive ranks of former Trivia Winners who have squared up to our very own quizmaster, John Kelly. Theme to be announced soon. . .
If you would like to help out, we need some volunteers on the night. Plus if you could donate items for team prizes, auction items or raffle prizes that would be great. Any goods or services will be most gratefully received, and the funds raised will go towards the B&B’s running costs. This year we will be joined by the Royal Far West who will be assisting in fundraising for the event, and will receive part of the funds raised on the night. For donations, please contact Ian (0142 331530 or ugoboyo@gmail.com).

Nice one, Joe. It’s true what you say about the end of daylight saving: yes, we’re looking forward to getting up in the daylight; but it’s been magical swimming in the ocean and watching the sun rise over the horizon.

Great photobombing Mike Stacey! We still need help from anyone who can blog for us. I think I’m changing to Saturdays as Renae can’t blog for a while. Please let us know if you can help out. There is a new easier, quicker way to blog now as Lesbubbs showed yesterday.
