Sat 28/3: Triple Birthday Treat

28/03/20157

Three birthdays on a most glorious morning swim.  The mornings are getting darker as we approach the end of daylight saving next weekend.  You’ll notice this in my photos because it’s hard to see anything!

It’s all arms after “Let’s Go!” is called:

And this is why we swim in the darkness:

Leading me to The Point:

King of the Kingfish:

Ted and Lainey – Happy Birthday Ted!

Happy Birthday Jo!  (in the middle 🙂 )

A splash for Ted, Sarah and Jo – Happy Birthday!!

Fish-a-plenty:

I had the pleasure of 6 Dusky sightings today.  Here are two of them:

Fellow Dusky followers:

An odd jumping fish I’d not come across until today:

Have a great day!  🙂

Special Event – Guest Speaker!

The next B&B monthly dinner will be on Tuesday 14th April at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. On the night we will have a special presentation by Richard Nicholls from the Dive Centre Manly, who will present the story of how Cabbage Tree Bay has evolved into the amazing place it is today. In Richard’s words it is “a tale of intrigue, agenda, and mis-information, and how, through the power of ordinary people, the unthinkable became reality”.

The cost of the dinner is only $25 a head and includes shared entrees, a selection of mains to choose (incl a vegetarian option), corkage (for byo wine only) and a little thank you for the staff. Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential:  To avoid disappointment and secure your spot please BOOK HERE NOW.

    Great blog bananna.
I had no idea I was in the presence of the great Anna Bananna when we were looking for Duskies.
Thanks for pointing some out to me, and for the record, your photos are much better than mine.

Great blog. Your photos show how dark the start is at present. What are the little fish that swim alongside the duckies?

Great blog and what a stunning start to the day with such a glorious sunrise. How did the snorklers go?
I have managed to lose my goggles – blue with pink stretchy elastic band with toggle….? I parked my gear by the tree near the hooks. A bit mystified, but vagueness is my forte so what can you expect. Hope.
