Shake and Bake!

09/04/20153

Was that a non regulation “Let’s Go” at Shelly Beach this morning? I think I know who it was…

Meanwhile, a bit chilly in the air, but the water was still nice and warm. Over 110 of us in the 21.1 degree water.

Good to have the boys back together. They have missed each other. When they were at school together back in 60’s they used to play in the second row for the 4th’s.

I think this winter is going to be the season for the ladies to dominate!

And we had a fast one from Melbourne this morning. This is Emily doing her first swim while on holidays. She beat Sterling, Dave, JP, Mercedes Steve… well most of you!

Alright I am off for a babymoon before our second baby arrives. If you need me, speak to my secretary Sterling… because I’ll be sitting by the pool here…

Also Elizabeth asked me to remind people about the Art show and fund raiser for Dr Rays Charity (Australian for Womens Health). Details follow….

The Champagne Soiree for the Easter Charity Art Show is Thursday evening. There will be drinks and beautiful canapes by a caterer down from Mudgee
The cover charge is $25 or slightly less ($21.49) if you book online via the link below. That covers the hire of the gallery for the fortnight. Over 30 prominent artists have contributed more than 85 pieces of work so there is a wide variety, probably covering all tastes. 25% of all sales goes to the charity which is Australians for Women’s Health which was founded by Ray Hodgson, a B&B swimmer. More info on it at www.a4wh.org. RSVP and Pay via https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/easter-charity-art-show-tickets-16271465391.

Yes, I was told that JP couldn’t stand the A team waiting any longer….. perhaps if they started at the point, they wouldn’t have to wait too long. And JP, if you would like to take over….I would love you to…. every day though or do you just want to do it on A team days ?

It was lovely swimming today. How to reconcile the gentle warm water with the weather reports forecasting dangerous surf with waves up to 3 m?
