More Hot Shots!

16/04/20158

Good morning beach tractor…

115 or so of us gathered for the swim this morning. The A-team minus Brad were all there for a good old fashion lung busting hit out. Nice to see Gene Simmons from Kiss come.

It was a bit bumpy but we all made it Shelly Beach where we then did some aqua aerobics with Kelly Jones…

Blistering form from Brother James on the way back for a decisive win by 20 meters.

The Spaniard came in second…

Bones in his ultra elite wetsuit was 3rd…

And although Sterling was claiming a tie for third… this photo helps correct any nonsense you may have heard from him…

Meanwhile back at the Bishops Palace, we have our little girl in training for next summer. Already Sophie has two of her kidlets firing up! Shmoper; “so what you are saying is… you want me to get out of bed at 6:39am and swim 1500m… and live your dreams through me…”

“That’s right!”

I am speaking this Sunday on JC washing the feet of his disciples… Fresh from being hailed as King he then humbles himself by washing the dirty feet of his followers. This idea of servant leadership inverts our ideas of power and shapes how we are treat others with dignity and love. I am not great at this, but when it comes to our marriages, our friendships and how we treat the poor… hopefully  we too can lay aside our privilege and power and love the ones in front of us with servant shaped love! www.manlylife.org

Have a great week!

Such a cheerful blog with inspiring and thought-provoking comments.
And talking of inspiration (how’s that for a segue!), my daughter Clare would like to invite you to free demos of Ladybug Music, her pre-schoolers’ music classes. They will be held in Curl Curl and Neutral Bay next week. Go to the link:
    http://www.ladybugmusicsydney.com.au/demo-classes/
and follow the prompts to register.

well BB is really an inclusive group. in the last couple of days I have spoken to THREE swimmers who swim almost every day and do NOT tick. And they don’t care about badges. I am still trying to get my head around it.

Ticking is not just about badges. We register our swims so that we can show our advertisers, who generously support us, that our numbers are swelling, and they are getting value for money. Simples.

  • To bubble or not?

Furthermore, under-reporting will negatively impact on our market valuation in the run-up to the 2016 public offering.
Hostile takeover by Bondi Icebergs anyone?
