B&B Dinner
The next B&B monthly dinner will be on Tuesday 9th June, 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. The guest speaker for the night will be one of our own swimmers, Annie Sophia – Revive My Style. Do you love clothes or hate them? Do you appreciate when someone makes an effort, but can’t be bothered yourself? Do you think you would be bothered if only you had more money, time and expertise?
The cost of the dinner is only $25 a head and includes shared entrees, a selection of mains to choose (incl a vegetarian option), corkage (for byo wine only) and a little thank you for the staff. Glasses of beer or wine and desserts are also available at the special price of only $5 each. Numbers are limited, so bookings are essential!
Scalpers are already doing the rounds selling “A Sofia heckler tickets” I’ve been offered front row Acca Dacca tickets swap for “Yay” tickets
Seen some on Ebay already !

Fantastic blog Simon. Well done.
I am raising a concern I have after studying the famous Lips Photogragh.
Just out of interest, Lips, what were you doing in the surfclubs Men’s showers with a camera?
What was the reaction of the club members when you walked in with a camera and started snapping away? Must have been great for relations between the pink caps and the club. 🙂
Congratulations Mr Spaniard!
Thank you Greg for setting the atmosphere at race start. Legend!

Congrats Spaniard!
For the record, the race was not delayed due to my clowning at Shelly..
Thanks for digging up that lips photo again, Simon. And I believe that’s the actual jimble that stung me on that fateful morning almost 3 years ago. What a scoop!
Impressive Vivid installation by your nephew. What a talented family!

Stephen Coulter took the photo. His club membership has since been suspended I believe.

Hard to say, it was a messy finish but I think I was just in front of Tim with Lips getting me by an arm. “The Arm”

Lads & Lasses, I know some of you like to race. I am good with that. But safety comes first. Look up and look out. I have seen skulls split open from head clashes and collisions. Hark my words less you hurt somebody. Or, you come across something far more dangerous than a shark….me.

Hi Alex
I agree safety is more than important than speed. I think the late start by the racers today meant that they started at the back of the Pack and so had to do a lot of overtaking which was unfortunate. More vigilance needed all round.
BTW for those who dont know Alex the Pirate, he would indeed be more formidable then shark.
