Sometimes it’s the simple pleasures in life that can absolutely make your day. Just to see your dog wagging his tail for no other reason than he loves you ! No queue when you go to get coffee. All green lights when you are in a hurry.Sometimes it doesn’t take much, just a hug ! or a wink from a stranger.
Or just to come down to Manly to embrace the day !

For Ed it was just making it down here !

My simple pleasures today:
1) seeing Ed and Massey (dog)and hearing that he is doing much better than the medicos expected. Maybe its ‘the power of love’ and all the support incl from the B&B
2)Bob Petterson aka quiet achiever or #9 reaching 1500kms swum today. Congrats to another unsung hero
3)Jamie joins and so the B&B family grows
4) coffee, sun, chats, laughter, concern ie our community in full swing

Its a lucrative trade – snatch them, the more badges the better and then seek payment from the owner for return. The more badges = the greater the sentimental attachment and hence potential payout !

Great blog Shelley, so good to see Ed and his trusty companion, I’m sure that dog has brought light & happiness into Ed’s life during the hard times. Simple pleasures are so important, my little poodles were such great little nurses when I needed them. Xx
