Mornin’ all. MEFF inner westies here. Fi1 has excelled this week with an ambitious Paul Kelly tribute. But first, the intro bits. Lovely cold winter morning – 4 degrees, water was 16.6. Swimmers: quite a few, newbies – don’t think so.
Songs matched to the text and photos. Here we go!

He was more than just one man, he could take on any side

So much water so close to home
(Everything’s turning to white) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUDDupvN9Dw
Came in on a Sunday, every muscle aching, walking in slow motion, like he’d just been hit

Jumping over the ripples looking way out to sea
Deeper water, deeper water, deeper water, calling him (them) on,

But he (they) keep coming back like a cork on a tide
From little things big things grow
Indeed – thanks to Jules for our B&B treat every day…
And more people who sang and swam with us today below….
(My fab blog team Fi1, Fi2 and Mickey).
TTFN.
End of blog bits

Love that photo of the sun forcing it’s way out beneath the cloud at The Point! I am so lucky I never get jimbles but I think it’s because I go really close to the rocks (looking for fishes.) Happy Sunday folks!

Ian has them, Shelly. But they don’t look like they’re your size.

There has been reports that Silky the dolphin was back in the bay yesterday. Any sightings from the group?
