Like The Bishop says, it’s almost summer. Exquisite sunrise, crystal-clear, flat as a tack, phosphorescence off the fingertips, a shark, and balmy water. Could have been perfect, except for that annoying Booty Blogger

The Sevens, opting for safety in numbers, go swimming in a tighter than usual cluster. As the instigators gather by Reg’s bench to start exaggerating. Prime witnesses are Helen, Nan, Lee and The Midge. I was 90 secs in front of them and – as usual – saw nothing. “This big,” says Reg!

A-Team Interview Series
Lesley Coulter actually founded the A-Team with Brad back in 2012. (They being the two fastest B&B swimmers back then.)

Unfortunately the A-Team was increasingly being hijacked by cheaters and scammers, and so Lesley decided to remove herself from competition. Which came as a great relief for most A Team men, who simply couldn’t beat her. Lesley currently dedicates time to her many cat charities, and keeping Lips on his toes.

Never let your drippy wetsuit reach the car’s carpet or seats – it can get danky in there. Greg shares his technique:

Ha,ha…great work!
My goodness, only early Thurs eve in NY and you already have the blog up for Friday!
Continuing with our tour of swim spots in NY (having done endless pools, friend’s apartment mega underground pool, beautiful surf swim at end of Long island), this morning it was the turn of the skating rink in Central Park! Really great fun – becomes a large circular open air pool in summer with lanes between 7am and 8.30 am before the kids arrive….

Top-notch journalism Roger. I’m an avid reader of the A-Team interview series. About time Lesbubbles gets to tell her side of the story!
I counted one jimble today. It looked exhausted. I think we’ve worn them down.
Lost my goggles in the shallows this morning. Anyone found them? Speedo. Grey tinted. Single strap.

Go Roger – love all the angles you manage to cover – How come you’re a Thunderbirds fan?
I wonder if the ARU fundraiser could also include Israel Folau or Stephen Moore.

Love your blogs so funny. Yes saw the large animal even though not many believed me at 6.30 until others confirmed my sighting on return. Anyone know why type? Very broad? But also seemed to be very docile on the bottom near rocks.
