It was a mesmerizing 2 foot of swell on a 9 second cycle from the deep South so nary a ripple tippled our swim. Even the wind was from the direct south and cruised over us in the bay and lightly scarred the wobble further up the beach. On the half tide from a low at 4:14 it was gentle walk out and back.
In short hard to beat as one of the best in the slide to the Spring side.

Today began like many before it with a muted show of first rays

But wasn’t long before the sun became a force and warmed the morning walk

And a morning made all the better for seeing Ed

Even on the accidental photo’s the Sun sneaks in a bomb

From every corner it snuck

On the short walk it seemed like Summer

But then again as the water reached my nether regions it was definitely bracing.

And who else to convince us it was so summer.

The initial sprint to warm up left the water a mess of bubbles

But then the point was very relaxed

Until someone said let’s go.

It was calmer down deep with the grazing Groupers

After the throng had passed not even a Jimble stirred

Halfway and I could smell breakfast cooking somewhere up high

As the last of the sun before Shelley beckoned

Today Shelley seemed warmer than the last swim

The return was uneventful till we hit the white wall and all its fishy mates

Standing on the white wall as the throng approached at high speed

Today the fish were quite deep

And the ambling Anemone’s soaked up the first rays

The grass definitely needs a mow or a big swell

With a slightly higher tide the shaving of the point was on the agenda

At last the Green grass of the home strait.

Seemed quiet today but apparently 86 adventurous souls and few newbies that didn’t sign in

And to the highly anticipated Bluewater Breakfast, Ed led the charge

With Lyndal a close and very happy second.
Stay well and have a great week.
Cheers
Brian
