Dive into it, you make the morning.
Your smile signals the dawn is done and day has now begun, dive in.
Grains of sand, future joys exposed for just a moment then washed out of reach,
Knee deep apprehension limiting dreams, you can’t live them from here, so dive in.
Rip that band-aid from yesterday’s wound, the quicker the better you know this dive in,
Dive in and swim it with me.
Immerse yourself and waves will know themselves a little more, give reason to the ripples.
Though alone with the breath you hold, we’re all in this together and only a reach away.
Different strokes same direction, your actions create flow, we keep each other afloat,
What we think separates us, connects us with another glimpse.
So lift your face to the day you made, breathe deep, reach out and dive right in.
– Andrew

Dear Management.
Those who did the 6km on Saturday were only credited with 5327m. While I note that the 6km is now 6km (thank you very much) is there any way we might claim those missing 673 metres? I realise that this is completely contrary to Andrew’s lovely theme of togetherness, but the Pacific Challenge is a fiercely contested beast and every bit helps to overtake the person in front 🙂

yeah and what about those doublers that are ticking the Shelly swim TWICE rather than the 2.5 Double swim.. they throw on an extra 500 metres by doing that!
I will do whatever it takes to defend my Top 8th Position on the PC!

Thanks to the Saturday 6 km swimmers for pointing out the discrepancy. Unfortunately my computer skills are extremely limited and do not allow me to reverse the Saturday entries. I do however rate very highly on the sneaky scale. If I were you, I would delete my Saturday swim and then re-log it. This could have the desired result. If this doesn’t work then sorry: first world problem.
