The streetlights lights were still shining but there was heaps of activity in our paradise before 6am.
except at the office
The Frenchman and the Pirate invited me to swim with them to Queensie but I was busy taking photos so by the time I got to the point at 6.05 they were no where to be seen. Judging by their facial expressions maybe I had a lucky break. (BTW they later reported a great swim)
So I waited at the point for this lot who finally arrived at 6.12.
Welcome home Sarah & John (from Hong Kong ….)
I should note that Acting Management Shaun did arrive promptly and before 6am to greet the 5 newbies.
Shaun also used his powers to put Lips in charge of the 7am Let’s go!
Newbie Oliver
Matt Christie’s eldest daughter Tilly (also a newbie),
here is Cloe, Matt, Tilly and fiance Jillian
The 7am crowd
His Holiness Luca under the watchful eye of HRH Millie while their dads reed home
I like this shot
FYI yesterday was the 200th Anniversary of Appin Aboriginal Massacre
I often think about life in this paradise before 1788.

Great blog Simon. Putting Lips in charge of the swim was more of a social experiment.
It was great to see our group so inclusive and accept Lippy as the leader for the 7am swim.
BandB top marks.
