Friday 28 June 2019 winter swimming

28/06/201910

It is the best time to swim. Warm calm waters. Clear to see fishes. The winter solstice swim is over so no fears on that front. A badge to swim for and an excellent way to start the day

The swimmer on the left had his last swim today. He is leaving for tropical climes – London. Bon voyage

I love colour in my shots

Here is John who checks the temp. I always check the temp even though I am swimming anyway. Thanks John

Here is a newbie with Ian

Early swimmers galore today. It must be dark when they start

Hiya

A team back under the A team tree. feels better.

The temp – still hot

Aha – they waited until I went down the ramp to shower but I came back for the shower scene

More excellent early swimmers

More early swimmers- one with antennae

Early swimmer on left has been to Queenscliff and handing over to 7 am swimmer heading for Shelly. The group covers it all

Jazz hands

Getting into the sea

Always trying for elbows

Management notices:

Water Temp:  18.4
Newbies:       1
Total swimmers    195

Loving the water shots. The elbows remind me my swim technique can be much better.
