Wednesday 8/7 How many smiles can you get before 7am?

08/07/20260

Absolutely loads of smiles and happy faces if you come down to a Band B swim! They are even brighter after they come out of the water 😊After a couple of months travelling you realise even more… how amazing our community is and our very special swim, in this little corner of the world!

Clare and Dr Michele are meeting up with Wendy getting in at halfway as it was her birthday yesterday

These two, Heather and Sue also exude joy!

Roger, Sue and Greg after finishing their double swim. Always inspirational. As many of you know Roger is blind and here he is swimming doubles in quite challenging conditions.

Tania goes from halfway as there were some big sets further out today. We gather around Sheena as it’s her birthday today. A very lovely human being, lifesaver, naturopath ( she left the corporate world to pursue a career impacting the lives of others and has many clients a lot healthier as a result.)

She’s always coy about her age but how amazing is Sheena!

  • Lots of birthdays at the moment. It was Simone’s on Saturday and we are off on a snorkeling holiday to The Philippines tomorrow with a group of swimmers. Here is Sim with the lovely Suzie who is loving being in Manly after moving here from Epping.

i just had a frolick with Sheena today but it was beautifully refreshing and fun. The atmosphere at the swim was great, pleasantly warm and we didn’t get any rain in our corner. Always worth coming down 😊Just including a couple of underwater photos of my recent trip to Komodo and Gilly islands!

  • Thank you for the wonderful start to the day!
