Today was all about chasing swimmers for me, all the way to Shelly and again on the return leg.
The beach was calm with tiny waves and clear water, temperature just over 20 degrees.

One swimmer waited patiently for the swim to start by pondering the beautiful view while sitting on the wall.

I bumped into Suzy at the point who’s a talented masters swimmer in the manly club- happy belated birthday for Friday. She set off for Shelly with some mermaids and manmaids.
I chased someone’s bubbles down the bay and then found the swaying seaweed with cute fish.
There was a cuttlefish sighted at Shelly but I just missed out, always 2 minutes behind. For the rest of the swim I constantly chased some mermaids back to manly but only caught up on land.
I did find a ball of diamond fish near halfway and then at Manly bumped into Rosie and Emma languishing in the clear waters.
All up a lovely start to the week, long may it last.
