So long and thanks for all the posts

Lazy start for me this morning, the joys of semi retirement. I reflected on Deb’s blog about her morning rituals from the other day and then reflected on mine. They start around 5.30 with the strident feline demands for breakfast followed by a 5 kilo (and that’s being nice) jump onto my bladder. Talk about waking up with a sense of urgency!!! My socials are festooned with footage of her and the recently departed GInger Ninja so I won’t burden you with it here.

This morning, Guy posted his final temperature work. It’s been beyond marvellous and I’m sure everyone is so grateful and wishes you all the good things. Can we maybe hope for the odd guest appearance?

Another glorious morning, with easy access from the ramp – a combination of low tide, small waves and sand that provided a small step down.

Ruby has become a benches morning fixture. She is many years old, blind, deaf and sweet natured. Here she is. If you want to make friends with her, just let her sniff your hand so as not to startle her.

Lainey and Bec rocking the post-swim joy.

A wandering anemone from the other day

All rays point to this eagle ray. Quite a large one!!!!!

A newish turtle spotted out from the pool last weekend.

There was SO much rubbish floating near the pool and the Fairy Bower steps this morning. Mother Ocean kindly provided me with a receptacle for me to fill up.I hope our turtles didn’t eat any plastic earlier.

Yes there is an item of birth and disease control in amongst all that (in case you were wondering)

Guy used the music of the Beach Boys to accompany his posts quite often, so here’s a track from the brilliant Pet Sounds album
