81 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers
Last night’s Trivia Bash was so big a few of the swimmers didn’t go home! Sarah was most horrified to see her swim buddy Rainer asleep outside the surf club..oh dear he didn’t look up to swimming with her this morning!

Not sure who this is??? 😀

Speaking of last night – We want to give a HUGE thanks to The Steyne for looking after us SO well and putting up with us all!! AND they were still serving ‘normal punters” ON TOP of all 6000 of us… I mean 250. Also a massive thanks to all the donators of the great prizes and to the John Kelly who did another awesome job of MC’ing – AND the PA system worked perfectly this year!! And of course ..THANKS to all of YOU lovely swimmers who came along and embraced the night making it such a huge success!

Great humpday blog as always Lesley, THANK YOU !
What a fantastic night last night. Everyone had a ball and that’s thanks to the spirit of you all.
A massive heartfelt thank you to:
The Steyne Hotel for hosting and sponsoring the night with military precision and great humour
All our very generous donators of sensational prizes, which all came from our swimmers, sponsors and supporters
John the trivia king Kelly for MCing a truly superb, fun filled night with a little bit for everyone.
Lesley for rocking out the night and tallying all the scores
The Team of Silent Heroes who helped tirelessly behind the scenes and early on the night to make sure everything was in place and ticked through like clockwork
And… Last but certainly not least, to ALL OF YOU who turn up and swim and who came and supported our fundraising event last night. It was a wonderful night with a superb bunch of people creating a really great atmosphere. It wasn’t only a great fun night but it was also a huge success, helping to cover the costs of running our beautiful daily B&B activities, ensuring that we can continue on and continue to grow in the same great fashion, sharing our wonderful daily experiences and beautiful spirits with anyone and everyone who would like to be a part of it every day of the year.
THANK YOU ALL. You guys are truly special and make a special difference to the start of everyone’s day. YOU ROCK ! THANK YOU xxx

Jules darling, YOU are the one owed a HUGE thank you! Not only for last night’s absolutely fabulous, fun and super well organised Trivia Fundraiser event, but for all the time and effort spent every single day of the year making sure we all have a reason to get out of bed.
You are truly a lifesaver, and we are all so incredibly grateful for what the B&B swim squad brings to our lives – in and out of the water. THANK YOU!!!!!

Thanks Julie and all those involved in the organisation and running of the Trivia night. It was a great night and good to have everybody getting into the spirit wearing their themed costumes.
I saw more jimbles than I’ve ever seen at Manly point.

What a fantastic night with such a great load of people. I was begrudgingly the first to leave for a change but what a nice surprise to get the best dressed prize against such stiff competition too! All of my attire was from my own collection so if anyone needs something for Fancy Dress you know where to come!
I love the photos of the ones who didn’t get home Lesley! Another great blog and looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow jimbles or no jimbles!

Yes I loved all the jimbles who joined us last night…. I liked each interpretation of them…even the “lame jimbles” team…. It was good fun!
And bnb has ruined my (social) life…i am so “fit and healthy” I can no longer drink alcohol and go to bed late! I slept all day today!

I have never been involved in such a large diverse ,fun loving ,welcoming friendly group. Try downloading and printing out the “wall of fame” —you will be surprised how many faces you can write a name to.
I got to 109 .See how you go !
We could set up a competition based on the honour system.
Do you think we should exclude our founder from entering ?

That’s good going Greg !! 🙂
As for excluding ‘someone’ I’m pretty sure that’s not in the spirit of B&B… therefore I reckon I’m in 😉
