This week has seen fantastic weather for the start of Spring, with sunrises like these who’s gonna argue…
The water has been a little murky however, looking more like fish soup from the Thai takeaway as a result of the NE and E swells that have persisted every couple of days…
Despite the very warm weather we’ve had in the last few weeks – some are still in wetsuits, and even others are just getting them out…
Sarah Bursle managed to do what no-one in this entire election campaign has done so far – land a punch!
When asked for his response Turbo had no comment..
Jono and Charmian everyone….
Someone is back from adventures up the coast in her motorhome (ahem) 2 door hatch 😉
Somebody (pictured above) is going to swim their 1000th KM tomorrow –
We’ll all be there to congratulate her as she snorkels her way to superstardom.
She’s promised she’ll still speak to us though ….
Stats:
130 swimmers
3 Newbies
18.7c Water
Clarity: Thai Fish Soup
Have a great wekend everyone – Nick D

Hi Lesley is there a way to pay for the badges before the event to save time on the day, and also if one is not able to make it on the day? Thanks.

Hi Inez – If you can’t make badge ceremony you can collect/pay for your badge before/after daily swim..no probs 🙂

Just to mention a typo in yesterday’s blog showing Elaine’s great fish pics – it’s not a Rainbow Wrasse but a Rainbow CALE. Quite a spectacular fish. Can any of our wonderful photographers get a video of it swimming?

Jane I don’t think it swims – it just hovers! (if it’s the one I think I saw – sits at the bottom just after halfway) – I see it every day in the same spot!
