Today’s stats:
Water temp: 21.5c
Sunrise: 5:52am
Sunset: 8:10pm
Swimmers: Lots, so many the mathematicians are still counting.
Several new swimmers today too. Almost at the magic 4000 number!
OK, i’m winging this one big time. I didnt swim because i am (Harbourphobic) so this will be an interesting blog.
Think of it more as a pictorial diary
Right, apparently there are some little blue things in the water ocean side so it was off to the east option @ Manly Wharf.
Rainer was shocked to find out he had to swim in the Harbour!

Big crowd today doing the ” Ashburner waltz”

Lots of swimmers all eager to get wet in Sydney Harbour.

There was plenty of Morning Wood about today!

There was heaps of fish today. Most of it was seen in Ashburner Street.

I was chatting to a woman at the Skiff Wharf today (Jenny) she has
promised to swim with B&B tomorrow for the first time. Hello Jenny.
And todays action shots are as follows.

On
a none blog related issue i am selling a pair of boxed, never worn Mens
size 46 (UK 10.5) Saucony runners. Never worn (was $139, will sell for $60) if anyone is
interested. Thought id ask you fit and healthy bunch before they go on Gumtree/ebay. Tim

If not, then you may be intersted to know that your local sport shoes
specialist NORTHSIDE RUNNERS has a great range of runners in all sizes
and colour and styles. best of all, if you show your B&B card you
get a very generous discount. Nice work Northside. Just one of the many
B&B sponsors.
It was a beautiful start to the morning and its set to be a warm one so slip slop slap today people!

Prim not a fan of the harbour either, but looks like it was a great swim. I just came from a swim in manly and not a bluey to be seen! Wind is due to change direction too so hopefully we are back in the ocean side tomorrow!!

Loving those crowd shots from the skiff and fish shots Tim…so life like. What an enjoyable harbour swim again. “Lips” obviously tarting himself up to make up for absent opportunities this week…he had all angles covered…just so typical….
Will it be 3rd time lucky tomorrow? Or will the bluesy rein supreme?!

Interesting blog Tim! Missed it today but it looked fantastic. Tedley has big feet and needs some new runners so if they fit he’ll take them thanks. Will you be there tomorrow? Thanks Tim

Yay, watch and learn young Annie!
Tim, high quality blog, as always. Extra points for avoiding those lazy smurf suit shots. Too many bloggers have taken the easy option here lately..
Good to be back in the water with everyone. Missed you!

Agree with all previous comments, the pics from above make for a welcome change. You are an excellent photographer Tim. And great to have the Ashburner marine life properly documented too.
Well done Timberley!

Stop press!
One of the BnB who swam today at Newport did an absolutely smashing time, came 14th overall and came in well ahead of some very big name competitors at 27 minutes for 2km…
Brad Edwards, you are a superstar!
What an amazing swim, well done. I am so impressed! Woo hoo!
