60 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers!
If you decided to sleep in this morning – look what you missed! …absolutely nothing… I’m just kidding – no it was lovely even after last night’s rain – although the waves were up! A balmy 17.6 in the water!!

Was messy in the water so the majority of us decided to wimp ou..I mean … take the safer option and go to half way!
ALTHOUGH for some reason a fair few stayed at the point watching?!? – leaving the rest of us (mostly WWW’s) to freeze waiting for them!! Even the ever patient Jules gave up waiting!

Monster from the deep?? 😀 … waves near the point – quite a few of the swimmers opted to come back into the beach…. Those wetsuits again!

I have a feeling they were watching and taking bets on whether the last crazy person off the beach would drown or make it to the point. Luckily she made it, although she had some doubts as the waves just kept on coming in and coming in. Thanks for the guys waiting for me in the water at the point, all of a sudden I could see you there after not seeing anyone for ages, have never been happier to see the pink than I was at that moment, appreciate it.

I feel the same Inez, as i wandered happily along to shelly watching the pink caps wrestling with the waves. happy to see them, happy to be dry, calm me!

I watched you go out Inez. You caught the rip beautifully right out, and in fact overtook a lot of the others who went a bit to the south and had quite a fight.
You weren’t the only one who had doubts, but you all did very well. Well done.

Hahaha!!! This one is for you Nige AGAIN!! Not one, not two, but THREE blog appearances with an added bonus of a Jules (Mackin) shot too!!! I’ll need to resurrect the blog appearance spreddy at this rate as I’m steaming ahead!!!!
